Pliable Imaging
Ara Ghajanian has been retouching for clients in the commercial photography and advertising world since back when Photoshop was version 2.5 (1994). Up until 2013 he was working in design agencies and in-house departments, but at the urging of a colleague he stepped out on his own and started Pliable Imaging. The goal has always been to provide clients with the best realization of the image they had envisioned. The “Pliable” part of the name suggests that nothing in a photograph is concrete and anything can be molded to achieve this realization. His clients are mostly luxury brands dealing with imagery for products, visual merchandising, store windows and retail interior photography. Ara directs a team of trusted freelance retouchers for larger and/or more urgent projects.
